Press Release
15 May 2010 - Kabul, Afghanistan
A dedicated cricket English website (The Cricket Post) has been launched online to cover Afghanistan’s cricket and its progress. The new website will be run by www.tolafghan.com, an Afghani website broadcasting in Pashto and Dari (the two official languages of Afghanistan) and serving Afghan community around the globe since 2002.
The Cricket Post is launched after another similar website in Pashto and Dari was launched in 2009. Since the Pashto and Dari languages website was successful, extremely positive feedback from Afghanistan’s cricket community was received, and its contribution was felt at national level, The Cricket Post is launched to complete the mission of giving detailed coverage to the progress of cricket in Afghanistan. The Cricket Post will inform the global cricket community on the details of Afghan cricket and its future progress.
Tolafghan.com has reported on Afghanistan’s cricket since 2005 and its administrators have followed its progress since it first started in refugee camps at the outskirt of Peshawar in early 90s of the last century.
Tolafghan.com has worked for developing cricket in Afghanistan and will continue working for this noble cause. Launching The Cricket Post is an evidence of such dedication. The Cricket Post will publish news, blogs, commentary, and information on Afghan cricket. Cricket fans and experts around the world are invited to write for The Cricket Post. Its administration can be reached at articles@tolafghan.com.
